Hello to all budding journalists. As Head of News I coordinate all members wanting to be part of our current affairs output. I organise our weekly meetings and our weekly show, and together we create informative and most importantly interesting reporting on issues of actual interest to our listeners! As you can imagine this involves a lot of organisation, time and enthusiasm! I will help the team learn how to use the recording and editing packages (it’s simple, trust me) needed to produce reports and features. During the broadcast you can be involved in brain-storming feature ideas, investigating interesting stories, conducting interviews, editing and producing news reports and news-reading.
